Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. Sets To Remake Again ‘Panday: Ang Simula’

Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. won’t be running for President this coming 2010 elections, taking heed of his father’s advice. Instead he would be producing and casting himself as the main role player in the remake of Carlo J. Caparas’ ‘Panday’ as Flavio.

‘Panday: Ang Simula’ is set to make its way to be an official entry on December’s Metro Manila Film Festival. Philip Salvador will play the villainous Lizardo and promises their fans to expect lots of adventure and to be action-packed.

Iza Calzado, Rhian Ramos and Geoff Eigenmann also join the cast of this remake. Panday has always been a blockbuster hit since Fernando Poe Jr. put it to life. Senator Bong Revilla Jr. may have continued its legacy for the past few years, but this time it’ll hit the silver screen and ironically, it’ll take us back to it’s beginning one more time.

Iskul Bukol: 20 Years After

The return of Vic Ungasis and Escalera Brothers will surely give you the classic 80’s jerks that won’t leave you bored, instead would try to make you rock in laughter. Though, they’ll definitely put a different twist this time. Making it a bit more adventurous and have some out of the classroom scenes.

It’s like a reunion of their original casting with the likes of Miss Tapia, Bibeth, Tonette Macho and even Richie D’ Horsie. The TVJ (Tito, Vic and Joey) trio, of course will lead the rest of the pack. And it’s pretty interesting to know that the former beauty queen, Carlene Aguilar will spice up the cast, too. 😎

Iskul Bukol is forecast to score four movies to hit the Metro Manila Film Festival in the next coming years. Then they may return to “Enteng Kabisote” movie sequels after. It’ll be a treat to both kids and the 70’s and 80’s kids! 😆

Judy Ann Santos in “Mag-ingat Ka Sa… Kulam”

It will always give you some goose bumps whenever you hear “kulam.” 😯 And this new horror movie from Regal Films, “Mag-ingat Ka sa… Kulam” starring Judy Ann Santos will never leave you smiling… instead it’ll make you laugh at your raised hairs.  😆 This will be Regal’s movie offering for their 48th anniversary and Judy Ann’s one of the last two movies she’ll make for them under contract.

The leading man would be Dennis Trillo and not Ryan Agoncillo. The rest of the casts to name a few are TJ Trinidad, Mart Escudero, Kris Bernal, and Sharlene San Pedro. The film is written and directed by Jun Lana. It’ll be open on October 1 in theaters near you, nationwide.

Don’t scream too much, ok? 😈
