The Fearless Production of Jomari Yllana and Ronald Singson has been getting Philippine fans pumped up everytime for a couple of concerts now. The first one’s with Pops Fernandez and Martin Nievera’s sort of ‘re-uniting concert‘ and the latest was the fusion of American Idol 7’s Cook and Archuleta.
The coming of Justin Timberlake’s first heard from Anjo Yllana’s Cool Center back in GMA-7’s show and fans just love surprises like these. Even Charice Pempengco said back in her third appearance with The Oprah Winfrey Show in performing her first US single ‘A Note To God’ that her next dream is to dance and sing with Justin Timberlake.
As of now, the production’s at the works and we’ll just wait for the date and the place. So better get ready cause tickets may just fly away in a second without even noticing it’s been there. 😉
Kris Allen, the Acoustic Rocker finally wins American Idol Season 8, the most coveted and most anticipated talent search in the US that just garnered almost 100 million votes!
Kris Allen is the ‘underdog‘ in the Adam Lambert VS Kris Allen showdown. However he came out as a powerful force to reckon, the ‘Dark Horse’ that swayed the masses into a great following. What charm and creativity and greatness can actually touch millions of hearts and minds like that? Whew… When Ryan Seacrest break in to him that he just won American Idol Season 8, Allen was just so unbelievably surprised, “It feels good man but Adam deserves this. I’m sorry i don’t even know how to feel right now, this is crazy. Thank you so much!”
Kris and Adam battled it off in three rounds of spectacular performances in American Idol’s Season 8 Finale. In round 1, Adam Lambert performed again his maddening interpretation of “Mad World” by Tears For Fears while Kris Allen sang his spirit-awakening version of “Ain’t No Sunshine” by Bill Withers.
In the second round, Lambert rolled out iconic in his rendition of “A Change Is Gonna Come” by Sam Cooke. Allen gets to play soulfully “What’s Going On” by Marvin Gaye. In the final round, Adam ‘the glam rocker’ and Kris ‘the acoustic rocker‘ both rendered a different version of “No Boundaries.”
Kris Allen right now lines up with the roster of the greats and the champions of American Idol: David Cook, Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard, Fantasia Barrino, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Hicks and Jordin Sparks.

David Cook and David Archuleta will dawn on the country and stage their first back-to-back concert live here in Manila on May 16, 2009 at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds. They’ll be arriving on the 12th of April with Cook coming from the US and Archuleta from London.
David Cook’s brother Adam, the man who pushed him to join American Idol Season 7 just recently died of brain cancer. Rumors spread that the one-day concert in Manila might be postponed because of this incident, but recently have been confirmed via an official statement that it’ll push through.
