Power Of 10 pilots last Sunday May 10 to give away for the first time in TV game shows in the Philippines a hefty P10 Million grand prize! Janno Gibbs hosts this one in exchange of his previous “Kakasa Ka Ba Sa Grade 5?” game show challenge also with GMA 7 Network.

With Power Of Ten, the excitement just got heightened and the battle of instincts got more pumped up. The Family Feud that was hosted recently by Richard Gomez was also based on surveys, but The  Power Of 10 capitalizes on the proximity of the answers centering on percentages of the top answer, rather than just guessing the top answer.

We’ll be hearing more of the percents (%) in here so contestants must have their understanding on simple stats worked out on general infos, showbiz and current events. Two players actually fight in the eliminations, then one of them heads on for the jackpot round, in which 5 surveyed questions will be asked next. For each question the prize is multiplied by 10, with P1,000 on the first, then P10,000, P100,000, P1 Million and on final question with P10 Million.

The Power of 10 was actually created by 2waytraffic of the Sony Entertainment Company. It has been localized in at least 25 countries such as Venezuela, Armenia, Bulgaria, Chile, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Argentina, Israel, Mexico, Norway, Colombia, Poland, South Africa, Sweden, Ukraine, and Brazil. The Philippines is the 26th country to franchise Power of 10 and the 3rd country in Asia, following India then Vietnam to localize it.
