Last weekend typhoon ‘Ondoy’ attacked Metro Manila and left it with destroyed properties and injured inhabitants.
Starstruck loveteam Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal were addition to those devastated by the onslaught as their film ‘Nandito Ako’ flops the Box Office on its opening week. According to reports, the romantic-comedy film had a bad launching last Wednesday. Apparently, the Aljur-Kris movie seems to have a bad luck as another super typhoon, ‘Pepeng’ came to the Philippines this Friday.
The blame shouldn’t be put to ‘Ondoy’ or to the loveteam. It may be a lack of foresight on the part of production management that resulted to unsuccessful turn of events. If the launching was postponed, the movie may had a favorable ‘good’ opening week.
After his appearance as a major character in ‘Tayong Dalawa’, Coco Martin teams up with Maja Salvador for his biggest role yet. Coco will star as Maja’s leading man in ABS-CBN’s primetime drama series, Nagsimula sa Puso.
Both Coco and Maja are excited to work together. The show is special for both artists ‘coz a lot of firsts happened on the show. Coco’s first leading man role in a TV series and Maja’s first mature role ever, which is a good chance to adopt an older image according to Coco. They also expressed their gratitude to the support and love of their fans.
Coco and Maja are both talented and driven with their craft so it’s not hard to believe that they grew as highly celebrated artists of their generation. Nagsimula sa Puso will once again capture the heart of the viewing public.
Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal did a very astounding performance in their noontime show with GMA-7’s ‘Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin?’ and right now they’re taking the primetime block by storm with their newest soap ‘All My Life!’
Aljur plays Jules Romualdez and Kris as Romina Estrella. Lani Mercado takes the role of Aljur’s mom Marita Romualdez while Gelli de Belen as Kris’ mom Amelia Estrella. Zoren Legaspi, Jay Manalo, Manilyn Reynes, LJ Reyes, Paulo Avelino, Gladys Guevarra, Jay Aquitania, Jade Lopez, Stef Prescott, together with Bryan Termulo, Chris Cayzer, Moymoy Palaboy, Byron Ortile, and Martin delos Santos also comprised the star-studded cast of ‘All My Life.’
Mesmerizing as Aljur and Kris are together, the story that they play around with is also pretty much captivating in a sense that you’ll feel your heart also pounding, not with the ‘hate stuff’ that usually runs with rival families in which the main characters or lovers find themselves sneaking over each others’ fences or helplessly torn apart. But instead, it’s heartwarming to be swept away by how they’ve been separated in life just through the difficult tragedies that both their families have to go through in mutual acceptance, then how their lives evolved apart growing up and eventually how they’ve crossed paths again.
Some call it magic or some may say it’s simply fate, however these dubbed royal couples just make it on your TV screens seems to be bigger than life. Watch out for it every week nights after GMA’s 24 Oras. 😉
Precious Hearts Romances Presents Bud Brothers is on its Book 4: ‘Tail You Lose, Head You’re Mine’ with Joem Bascon and Janna Dominguez in the love maze this time.
There’s so much happening in the bud brother’s farm and it’s full of twists and turns that you simply can’t ignore. Joem plays the conservative Pete Labrador and Janna, the eccentric lady Tammy. They’re technically opposite but eventually they became friends. However, another bud brother, Dr. Ed played by Manuel Chua Jr. comes into the scene. Now, there’s the love triangle twist!
Janna’s really hot, however you look at her. She’s funny, always laughing, kind of low maintenance that really just add up to her sexiness. There’ll be more to find out on there romance, so it’s pretty cool just to watch these two find there way into love. 😉
Vic Sotto is teaming up with the Thai-British video jockey Paula Taylor in his upcoming romantic-comedy movie LOL (Love On Line) under the M-Zet Productions that is set to be shown this month of August. Bossing’s doing a new flavor here in this flick getting off enchanted kingdoms, superhero or adventure type stories and getting the story some kind of online, instead.
Richie D’ Horsie should have been Vic’s sidekick on this movie if he didn’t had a stroke lately. But Wally Bayola will get to ride with Bossing this time around. Jose Manalo, on the other hand as his ‘usual sidekick’ is set to take care of the role on the MMFF bid in December.
Vic’s having his new game show as the host in TV5’s Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. Paula in turn, just did a cover for MEGA premium fashion magazine last March issue. They look good together and it’ll be interesting how this two will end up together… in the movie, of course. 😉
