On the press conference of the new season of Pinoy Big Brother (Double Up), hosts Toni Gonzaga, Mariel Rodriguez and Bianca Gonzales were announced to come back as hosts for the said show.
The three hosts expressed their happiness and gratitude to ABS-CBN management and director Loren Diyogi, who on the other hand said that he haven’t thought of changing the three talented hosts. Mariel Rodriguez was overwhelmed and even cried as she thanked the people behind the PBB’s new season.
The management made a good choice in bringing back the hosts to the show. They all do well in their craft. The PBB’s new season will be absolutely exciting, not to mention hot and spicy. 😉
After his appearance as a major character in ‘Tayong Dalawa’, Coco Martin teams up with Maja Salvador for his biggest role yet. Coco will star as Maja’s leading man in ABS-CBN’s primetime drama series, Nagsimula sa Puso.
Both Coco and Maja are excited to work together. The show is special for both artists ‘coz a lot of firsts happened on the show. Coco’s first leading man role in a TV series and Maja’s first mature role ever, which is a good chance to adopt an older image according to Coco. They also expressed their gratitude to the support and love of their fans.
Coco and Maja are both talented and driven with their craft so it’s not hard to believe that they grew as highly celebrated artists of their generation. Nagsimula sa Puso will once again capture the heart of the viewing public.
After the highly-anticipated finale of ‘Tayong Dalawa’, the multi-awarded actress Cherry Pie Picache informed the media about her forthcoming primetime TV drama series, ‘Rubi.’ The primetime show is a remake of the well-loved Mexican TV series.
Cherry Pie, reluctant to give further information about the show will allegedly portray a kontra-bida role this time – a big transformation after her ‘mabait’ and ‘inaapi’ role as Marlyn in ‘Tayong Dalawa’. Mindless of her role Picache express gratitude to the ABS-CBN’s management for trusting her major roles like this.
Cherry Pie Picache promised not to fail the expectations of the audience and the management as well. She also assures that this brand new show from ABS-CBN’s primetime is something worth to watch out for.
GMA Kapuso Foundation and ABS-CBN’s Sagip-Kapamilya and ABS-CBN Foundation both conducted a telethon to raise funds for the victims of the typhoon ‘Ondoy’. A lot of celebs volunteered to join the telethon
Some who attended the telethon of GMA were Lucy Torres-Gomez, Iza Calzado, Rhian Ramos, Isabel Oli, Michelle Madrigal, Mark Herras, Arnell Ignacio, Butch Francisco, Benjie Paras, Ynna Asistio and other starlets including Vivo Juano amd Princess. Kris Aquino who also pledged P50,000 to Kapuso Foudation led the telethon for ABS-CBN Foundation. Willie Revillame even added another million for the first 26 million they already raised as donations.
Both GMA Kauso Foundation and ABS-CBN Foundation are gaining positive response from millions of Filipinos around the nation. There are a lot of pledges in cash or in kind from our fellows. The telethon also accepts ‘pananawagan’ and calls for help and emergency.
Maricar Reyes’ like a butterfly after all that she’s gone through, hovering in her bright, ever beautiful wings that everyone would just like to watch her roam around and fly. ABS-CBN has to be commended after all the controversies Maricar went through that they still made it possible for her to have a grand comeback. The Kapamilya network just entrusted her the lead role on ‘Your Song Presents: Gaano Kita Kamahal.’
Maricar had her first role in ABS-CBN back in I Love Betty La Fea, portraying Candy as Armando’s first love. Her second appearance was her act as a taong grasa in ‘May Bukas Pa.’ She’s an amazing actress after all that she got the lead as a piano teacher on Gaano Kita Kamahal. She’s partnering with Sid Lucero playing along the story line of forbidden love.
Other members of the cast stars Jodi Sta. Maria, Boom Labrusca, Quintin Alianza, Miguel dela Rosa, Bettina Carlos, Aldred Gatchalian, Regine Angeles, John James Uy, Rey “PJ” Abellana and Maritess Joaquin. This one’s premiering this July 5 after ASAP ’09.
